Podere Poggiarello is as old as Villa Petriolo and its vineyard gives us the best fruits, appreciated by the afternoon breeze that comes directly from the Gorgona Sea along the Arno Valley. From a careful selection of our best grapes is this balanced and intense Riserva born, with a deep, fragrant and fruity flavor.

Grapes
Sangiovese 50% and the rest made with Carmenere, Canaiolo, Colorino, Barbera y Merlot.
NOSE
Alternate touch of plum and ripe cherry, with cinnamon, vanilla and face powder and closes with a touch of rhubarb and cinchona
APPEARANCE
The tunic is made of live ruby with maroon reflections.
PALATE
Excellent freshness and elegantly fine tannin offer a balanced and pleasant sip with a fruity and mineral finish
WINE MAKING
Alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously at temperature of 23°/25°. The different grapes are vinified separately , maceration is carried out at diifferent times but never beyond 10 days. After that the wine is transferred to French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine continues to age in the bottle for at least 6 months.

Scents of currant, plums, fine, species and subtle notes of wood.
FOOD PAIRING
Pair with cheese, pasta, empanadas and pizza.
WINE MAKING
We select the best grapes to guarantee the carbonic maceration, the tank is hermetically sealed and the fermentation occurs. 25 days later the grape clusters are taken out to remove the sticks. They remain in the tank for a few more days to later be pressed and rest in barrel, where the malolactic fermentation takes place. It contains sulphites.
